Chocolate Cake Bites
Is it a cake? Is it a truffle? It's both at once!
(minimum order of 6)
We're still working on a way to post cakes topped with lashings of soft, creamy icing so that they arrive in the state they left, but in the meantime, there are cake bites. Instead of layering a chocolate sponge with chocolate buttercream as for a whole cake, the sponge is crumbled and mixed with the icing, then rolled into balls, which are dipped into melted chocolate and left to set, forming a crunchy shell. The result is an innovative way of eating chocolate, cake and truffles all at once.
These can be made suitable for vegans (dark chocolate only) and/or dairy-free; please let us know in the notes box at checkout if you require one of these options.
