Mince Pies (box of 6)

A presentation box of 6 fabulous mince pies.
We really love our regular melt-in-the-mouth gluten-free pastry, but for our mince pies we take it up a notch by adding in freshly grated orange zest. The pie cases are filled with our home-made mincemeat (matured for a minimum of 3 months), which we believe is a perfect balance of fresh and dried fruit, walnuts, spices and brown sugar, along with plenty of brandy and sherry - of course! The pies are topped with a pastry star or Christmas tree, then baked to golden brown perfection, and dusted with a light sprinkling of icing sugar 'snow'.
Boxed up and tied with red ribbon, these little beauties make the perfect Christmas gift, or even just a treat for yourself...

Pastry: Gluten-free flour blend (rice, potato, tapioca starch; xanthan gum), salted butter, caster sugar, ground almonds, potato flour, free-range whole eggs, orange zest.
Mincemeat: Grated Bramley apples, currants (currants, sunflower oil), raisins (raisins, sunflower oil), vegetable suet (non-hydrogenated vegetable fat, rice flour), Fairtrade light brown sugar, sultanas (sultanas, sunflower oil), walnuts, mixed candied peel (orange peel, glucose-fructose syrup, lemon peel, sugar, acidity regulator: citric acid; preservative: sulphur dioxide), orange zest, orange juice, lemon zest, lemon juice, brandy, sherry, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground cardamom; Icing sugar.
